Breathing new life into an exhibition trailer
The Renew Hub in Greater Manchester specialises in upcycling and selling quality, pre-loved items to help reduce waste. As part of Suez, a long-term client, they came to us to refresh their 12-year-old exhibition trailer graphics – installed by Mobad over a decade ago, and still going strong. True to their mission, the Renew Hub wanted to give the trailer a new look to continue raising awareness about their important work.
Stripping down and applying fresh new graphics
This was no small job! The project involved stripping the old graphics and removing parts of the interior to re-clad it with plywood, aligning with Renew’s focus on upcycling. We removed handles and cleaned the exterior to prepare it for the new wrap. The design, provided by Suez’s comms department, was sent to us after we templated the trailer and provided measurements.
We used the durable Arlon GTX Fleet Wrapping Material and printed the graphics on our latex machines, which not only ensured excellent colour accuracy, but is generally considered the most eco-friendly printing method available, in line with Renew’s environmental values. These graphics are designed to last just as long as the originals, giving Renew a platform for the years ahead.
Trailer graphics to be proud of
The Renew Hub team was thrilled with the final outcome, and the trailer now serves as a visually striking platform that travels to various UK events, raising awareness for the hub’s mission. You can spot this upcycled trailer on their Facebook page, proudly showcasing its new look.
Renewed trailer ready for new adventures
Our director, Natasha, really enjoyed working on this project, especially fitting out the inside of the trailer. We can’t wait to see where the Renew Hub takes the trailer next, and we’re confident these vehicle graphics will continue to look fantastic for the next decade!
