Leisure park signage for Seasons Holidays

Seasons started in 1983 by offering a wide range of holiday options at Laugharne Park, in Wales. This rapidly evolved into the development of holiday homes and leisure facilities across the UK in Cornwall, the Lake District and Ireland.

Just a short drive from Carmarthen in West Wales is the Dylan Coastal Resort, a collection of luxury self catering properties and spa, overlooking the beautiful Taf Estuary.

Better signage for holiday-makers

The Dylan Coastal Resort in Laugharne was expanding, with new lodges and roads being installed. As the site grew, the existing outdoor signage was becoming outdated, and did not reflect the quality and feel of the resort, which had evolved over time.

They needed a creative and practical local supplier who could design and produce weather-proof signage, using commercial-grade durable materials.

Outdoor signage that’s functional & fabulous

The estuary in Laugharne is hostage to the elements all year around, so we suggested using fabricated aluminium to create the outdoor signage. This material presented a challenge, as the customer was looking for a wood effect for the posts.

Time for a bit of creative thinking! Taking this onboard our design team created a series of options, incorporating different finishing effects for the metal posts. With significant experience in a vehicle wrapping we suggested wrapping the posts in a wooden-style design.

We worked with a trusted supplier to fabricate and weld the metal. Once the blank panels and posts arrived, we wrapped the posts in 3M IJ180 cast vehicle wrapping film which we printed using solvent free inks. The printing was laminated for UV and scuff protection and will stand up to the elements for many years.

Our experience with wrapping commercial vehicles made this job an ideal, the 3M vehicle wrapping film is a pleasure to work with and because we’ve been using it for so long, we made a perfect job of the signage, which looks amazing.

The installation was undertaken by the site maintenance team under our guidance and we supplied everything required for the install, right down to the colour coded post caps and stainless steel bolts for fixing the slats to the posts.
